Fall & Winter 2020 Promos

Every year, we discount our packages & prices in the fall and winter. Why? Because like most event industry folks living in New England, our business significantly declines in the winter and we’re ok with that! We usually document over 20 couples each summer and enjoy our little “winter break” However, we also absolutely love winter weddings and engagement sessions. And don’t even get us started about how much we enjoy fall. Hence why we started to do discounts back 10 years ago. We want to document more in the fall & winter! So these great promos are awesome savings for couples who’s been waiting to maybe do an engagement session, or book with us!

So, here’s our 2020 fall & winter promo lineups! We hope you enjoy it!

Fashion Editorial Session: Lorena

It's not often that someone contacts me to photograph anything fashion related, however some of my close friends know that fashion photography was something I saw myself doing after school. Some of my professors at Hallmark even told me that my wedding photography had a hint of fashion influence in it. So when Lorena, a close friend of mine, contacted me and told me she wanted to dabble into modeling and needed some portfolio images, I was eager to help her out!

We braved downtown Providence in cold 15-20 degree weather and killed it. Check it out and let me know what you think!

Senior Portrait: Mel | MA Senior Portrait Photographer

Mel knew of my name through a bunch of mutual friends. Although she was a senior at Somerset High, a school that I don't photograph often, she knew of the name "Ryan DeVoll" when thinking about her senior portraits. It's crazy to me to see how far I've come with seniors. To doing exclusively at Durfee High to now photographing seniors all over MA, it's awesome.

She rocked her session at Horseneck Beach a few weeks ago. Now that the summer is officially over, I probably wont have the chance to go back here until next year. On that note - Goodbye summer, hello FALL!

Maternity Session | RI Portrait Photographer

I've known Dennys & Yassara for almost 10 years now. I can't even believe it's been that long. I met them way back when I was in middle school and was friends with Yassara's sister - Isabelle. Isabelle invited me to her church one night and that's how I came to know Jesus. It's a bigger story than that but, this family has been like a second to my own. They've taught me to be stronger, they've helped me become more humble and make better choices. Dennys specifically has always felt like a "spiritual dad" in a way. He used to lead the youth at the church we all started out at. I look up to him and Yassara as a couple. Their love is pure, strong, and everlasting. I was there at their wedding, I photographed them for an anniversary session in the fall a few years back and now they're on their next chapter in life and I am honored to be photographing them yet again. It's clients like this that make me happy to be a photographer. They won't go to anyone else, they don't feel comfortable with anyone else and they trust me 100% with capturing their story.

I love these images. I've never done a Maternity session before but I absolutely love the way this came out.

Congratulations Dennys & Yassara. I can't wait to meet baby Ethan!

Parson's Reserve Lifestyle Session | MA Lifestyle Photographer

There are a lot of weeks where I tend to only pick up my camera when I need too. As if it's the outfit you put on for work. However, I remember one of my instructors at Hallmark telling me to keep shooting and never stop. Sure during the week I'm a busy bee. I have weddings to edit, clients to meet, and emails to respond to but that shouldn't stop me from keeping my creative juices flowing.

This weekend, I decided to do just that — keep my creative juices flowing. My friends and I set out to find Parson's Reserve in North Dartmouth, MA. It's a beautiful daffodil field in the middle of the woods. At first, we just wanted to go to see the place and experience it and all of its beauty. But recently I've been trying to take my camera everywhere I go. And since I had my camera, it was photo shoot time for me and my friends.

So we set off to Parson's Reserve and made some awesome images.

I also introduced them to Geocaching. If you have no idea what this is, read about it here. It's SO much fun and we found a few right in Parson's Reserve! I'm not addicted to it and even spent $10 to have the full version of the app for three months but it's a blast if you love exploring and finding new places.

Special thanks to Chelsea for modeling! You have to love having such adventurous and beautiful friends!
