Whitney & Tom got married on probably a day when the weather and lighting changed the most times during an 8-hour day! From moody cloudy skies in the morning to beautiful bright sunshine during their ceremony, and then back to rainy clouds in the evening, it was like having all of New England weather in one day! But we were up for the challenge.

Whitney & Tom live in NJ and got engaged in Hoboken where they met. We had the privilege to actually go out there with them and explore their neighborhood before the wedding. It was absolutely perfect. From every cuisine imaginable to a small little Italian festival happening right near the park Tom proposed. We got to experience Hoboken and its vibe perfectly before their big day back in Newport.

Newport Vineyards set the scene for the day with beautiful florals from the incredible Leslie Lee. Hair & Makeup by The Traveler Beauty Co. and entertainment by Unique Sounds! Literally, everything came together perfectly and we can’t wait to share a sneak peek of their day with you all.

Ahhhh! Finally! We are so excited to share with you Diana + Kirsten’s long awaited wedding! After being postponed in 2020, these two lovebirds decided COVID wasn’t going to stop them. They reached out to us, and felt so comfortable with Jenn and I that they actually wanted one of us to officiate an elopement so they can be “officially” be married in 2020. The elopement was so special that we knew that come 2021, their wedding would be just as magical. Well, the time finally came and it was more than magical, it was EPIC. Every detail, every moment, was just so perfect. We can’t wait to show you more. For now, enjoy this sneak peek!

Every year, we discount our packages & prices in the fall and winter. Why? Because like most event industry folks living in New England, our business significantly declines in the winter and we’re ok with that! We usually document over 20 couples each summer and enjoy our little “winter break” However, we also absolutely love winter weddings and engagement sessions. And don’t even get us started about how much we enjoy fall. Hence why we started to do discounts back 10 years ago. We want to document more in the fall & winter! Jessica & Alden tied the knot at the Herreshoff Marine Museum in Bristol, RI the other weekend and we had a great time! With incredible flowers from one of our favorites (Flowerthyme) and help from the amazing Erica at Infinite Events, the day turned out to be incredible.

After our couples book with us, we normally meet up plenty of times before the wedding to not only go over everything and make sure that we’re all prepared for the day ahead but more importantly to get to know our couples, their story and their families. Over the past 8 years there’s only been a couple of exceptions where we’re usually unable to do so but when we arrive on the wedding day, it’s like we’ve been getting together all along. Liz & Phil were one of those exceptions.

Jenn, Oksana and I had an absolute blast documenting their day as it unfolded. It was almost like we were documenting our best friend. The Bohlin in Newport, RI provided the perfect backdrop for their incredible summery, coastal vibe and their wedding party, family and friends were some of the absolute nicest people on the planet.

I am SO excited to show you Christina & Alex’s elopement. We’ve photographed a lot of weddings and out of all the venue’s we’ve been to, Providence City Hall might be my favorite. It’s so special and unique and it photographs beautifully. Christina and Alex’s story is honestly incredible. They met in Boston and it was pretty unexpected. Christine was in boston celebrating a friend’s birthday and Alex was visiting the city from Spain for work. To this day they’re still arguing who bumped into who but regardless, that bump jump started their relationship. Since then, a million Whatsapp messages have been exchanged, dozens of postcards and letters in the mail, and countless plane rides back and forth across the Atlantic. It wasn’t too long because it was clear to both of them that it was time to bridge the gap and start a life and home together.

I couldn’t be more excited about this blog post. We met Barbara and Brian about a year ago over the phone. After we chatted it up for a good hour and a half, we realized we should’ve been friends long before wedding planning came around. We have the same free spirited mindset, love for music, bands, and even share a love for Sam Smith. To top it all off they’re foodies just like Jenn and I. When we finally met just at the beginning of this year it felt like we were just meeting up with friends we haven’t seen in awhile. If I was being honest, I could’ve hung out with them all damn day.

Barbara & Brian got married at The Publick House in Sturbridge, MA - A venue we’ve been to a couple of times before. However this time, it was totally different. The place turned into a magical oasis filled amazing family, friends, great music, awesome food and even a Teepee hut. Barbara was one of our most “chill” brides this year. There was a point in the day where she realized she forgot her wedding shoes. If it was any other bride, this would’ve turned into a huge meltdown. Barbara just shrugged her shoulders, laughed and said “Oh well, I guess we’re going barefoot!” It was at that point I knew that Barbara was definitely a client turned bff. These two were absolutely amazing throughout the whole night. They were so photogenic and it definitely all paid off. I am beyond thankful to have been apart of Barbara & Brian’s special day. Thank you two so much for allowing me to capture it and for being amazing friends to us. I hope you both love this sneak peek as much as I do.

On a hot summer day, Christine & Jim tied the knot! After planning their coastal Rhode Island wedding from New York, the day was finally here. Christine had the absolute best team there to make sure everything went smoothly. Shayna from HolySmoke Films did a beautiful job filming the day, Lynda from Lynda Williams Beauty made sure all the ladies were in tip-top shape, The Boston Common Band rocked the house and the staff at OceanCliff in Newport were absolutely amazing.
